Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026. This policy covers the Android app “Stemora: AI Vocal Remover” (package com.theyourlist.stemora), published by TheYourList (“we”).

1. Your music stays on your phone

Stem separation, mixing, exporting and every audio tool run on your device. We never receive, upload, store or share your audio files, stems, song titles, notes or lyrics, and we operate no servers that process them. Separated songs are stored in the app's private storage until you delete them or uninstall the app.

2. Files and permissions

• Files you pick — the app only reads audio or video files that you choose in the Android file picker.
• Save to Music — when you choose it, the exported file is written to Music/Stemora on your device.
• Internet — used for ads, analytics, purchases and for downloading a media link that you paste. When you import from a link, the app downloads that file directly from the address you entered. We do not see the link or the file.

3. Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used. We only log anonymous usage events, such as “separation completed (4 stems, 3–5 minutes)”, “export (MP3)”, “paywall viewed” or “purchase completed”. Each event also carries the device model, OS version, app version, approximate region and an app-instance identifier. The app enforces an allow-list of event parameters, so song titles, file names, notes and audio content are never logged. You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings → Share anonymous usage data.

4. Advertising (Unity Ads)

The free version shows ads from Unity Ads: a banner in the library and tools, occasional interstitial ads after a separation or export, and optional rewarded ads to unlock a Pro feature once. Unity may collect the advertising ID, device and usage information to serve and measure ads. In the EEA, UK, Switzerland and the US, personalised ads are off until you turn them on in Settings → Personalized ads. Otherwise Unity serves non-personalised ads. Pro users see no ads. 5. Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Google Play. We never receive your payment details. Google tells the app whether Pro is active.

6. Data retention and deletion

Songs, stems and notes remain on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall it. Google keeps analytics data for up to 14 months. See how to delete your data.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Your rights

You can switch off analytics and personalised ads in Settings, reset your advertising ID in Android settings, and request deletion of analytics data by email. Residents of the EEA, the UK and US states have the rights their local laws provide, including access, deletion and opting out of sale or sharing.
